Alexander graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder where he majored in political science with a minor in philosophy. After graduating Alexander attended Vermont Law School which lead him to Alaska when he interned with the Public Defender Agency in Fairbanks. After the experience, he fell in love with Alaska—especially Fairbanks and wanted to practice here after graduating law school.

Since graduating, he has faced a meandering path which lead him to work for another public defender agency as well as a state’s attorney (out of state) before returning to Alaska and specifically Fairbanks. In his spare time, he enjoys his runs, workouts, and being outdoors.
